Glass plate negative photo of the front door of the Quillcote house, author Kate Douglas Wiggin's residence in Hollis, Maine. The back side of the negative has a section of a postcard pasted on. "Jan 4, 1917" is written in pencil on the postcard section. The photographer Bradbury was likely sizing these photos to create postcards. This image of "The Front Door" has appeared on postcards. Many of these postcards of Quillcote are still widely available today and sold by antique ephemera dealers.Made/Created
