Glass plate negative photo of the interior of the Quillcote house, author Kate Douglas Wiggin's residence in Hollis, Maine. The back side of the negative has a section of a postcard pasted on. "Good Neg" is written in pencil on the postcard section. The photographer Bradbury was likely sizing these photos to create postcards. This image of "The Seven Doored Sitting Room" has appeared on postcards. Many of these postcards of Quillcote are still widely available today and sold by antique ephemera dealers.Made/Created
