Child's beige wool detached cape that matches coat 2014.251.1. Cut from one piece of fabric with two pleats at the back of the neck for shaping. Same floral border executed in cotton in shades of white, yellow, and pale blue with leaves in shades of green. The scalloped border is embroidered in a grey-brown cotton, a little lighter shade than the ground fabric. The neck edge is bound with the same silk as the coat and collar.Made/Created
