Description

Pair of women's shoes, kidskin uppers with leather soles, lined with linen. Pointed toes that curl slightly upward; low wedge heel. The vamps are one piece and seamed to the back about halfway down the foot. There is a seam at the back of the heel. The uppers are colored blue with a black printed stylized floral motif that was printed on the leather before it was cut for assembly. The uppers are lined with a coarse cream-colored linen; the insole is a separate piece of the same linen. The upper edge on the inside is bound with cream-colored leather fastened down with hand overcast stitches. The outsoles are marked with several small circles. Interestingly, the pattern on the vamps is not aligned in the same direction on the shoes.
