Description

Pencil drawing of a dinner party set probably in the 17th century. Sixteen men and women sitting in backstools around a table with a large candleabra at the center. On one side of the table is a large chair, probably a throne, under a canopy; the coat of arms of England is mounted on the wall beneath the canopy. There are portraits on the wall in the background. A large chandelier hangs over the table and there are two wall sconces on each side of a large doorway. Two soldiers with pikes stand in the background.
