Center, two men booted and in feathered hats, one seated at a table with several papers, the other standing beside him, a map on the wall behind them, attended by a lady in pink satin gown and lace head piece. Right, three noblemen visit a noblewoman richly attired in gold, purple and black lace veil, one gentleman kneeling to kiss her gloved hand. Two large portraits on the wall in the background, and a red cushioned stool with gold fringe. Decoration of leaf (verso): Silver motifs on white. Guards are of plain bone, serpentine shaped. The bone sticks are also serpentine shaped and pierced in delicate vertical vine motifs separated by parallel bars of silver foil.Dimensions
