Folding pleated double fan with paper, cream colored leaf, painted wood sticks and guards, bone button, metal rivet and loop, no tassel. Decoration of leaf (recto): Gold metallic paper witha wide cream-colored ornamental band, which contains two couples in 1820s costume, on either side of a large urn of flowers. The left is a profile of a woman, to the right a profile of a man. Leaf interspersed with silver sequins. The sticks and guards are painted gold in an arabesque pattern.Dimensions
