Folding, pleated advertising fan made of paper cut in fantange shape, sticks and guard plain unfinished wood, metal button, metal rivet, no loop or tassel. Decoration of leaf (recto): Paper printed with deep yellow ink background, crossed by the suggestion of a fence in brown and gray, atop which sits an urn of flowers. A cockatoo watches from its hanging circular perch. A white sun in the sky. Stems of yellow stylized flowers hanging from the top edge of the fan. Hand painted. Signature "J. Sanne Paris."
