Crazy quilt composed of five rows of 7.75-8" squares that are divided by 3.75" bands. Wide (6.25") burgundy velvet border. Each corner of the border has a gold corner square, all of which have floral embroidery or ribbon roses. The top has many large painted panels and a great variety of unusual decorative embroidery patterns. One square has the embroidered date "1892". Backed with a golden brown wool challis or fine all wool backing.Material
