Frost rug has a beige background with a green and white braided edging, a navy and red interlocking (chain) border around oval with green leaves, rust and brown flowers which is around a center motif of the same colors - brown scroll design in each corner. On the back of the rug is a label reading "Hooked by Arabella Stiles before her marriage to George Austin Philbrick June 4, 1878"
