Small sketchbook with a brown paper cover and lined pages. The cover has a cream-colored label affixed to it that says: "Subscriptions / for the purchase of / Akers' Bust of Lincolnd / in Bronze / to be presented to the City of Portland". Inside are a series of lanscape sketches including two 1872 sketches of Mount Kearsarge, one of a campsite with the names "G.E. Bradbury, F.W. Akers. Dimond Smith" along the bottom.
