Description

Commemorative resin award marking Father Terrence Toland's time as president of SJC. The award includes a black resin base with "Saint Joseph's College/ 125th Anniversary" and school seal on the base top. "1968/ President/ 1976/ Rev. Terrence Toland, S.J." is located on the side of the base. A clear resin pillar juts out of the base and includes a pewter colored miniature of the Barbelin tower. See also photographs 3.0150 and 3.0151. Carmen Croce received this award from Thomas S. Ryscavage, M.D. Dr. Ryscavage received it from Father Terrence Toland, S.J. after he baptized Dr. Ryscavage's daughter Lily. According to Dr. Ryscavage, Fr. Toland received this commemorative award from Princess Grace of Monaco (Grace Kelly) during the 1976 Eucharistic Congress/125th Anniversary of SJU (circa July 31, 1976).
