Description

Two academic robes of Gerard Manley Hopkins, S.J. scholar Dr. Norman Hugh MacKenzie. One costume includes the academic black and satin crimson hood, Tudor style black hat (Ede & Ravenscroft Ltd, 93 & 94 Chancery Lane, London), and black robe. The other costume includes a crimson felt hood and a matching crimson satin and cotton robe with the Ede & Ravenscroft tag and N.H. MacKenzie label. Dr. MacKenzie received an honorary degree from Saint Joseph's University at the convocation on May 26, 1989 from Fr. Nicholas Rashford and Dr. Matthew J. Quin, Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs.
