7-2 win over Grammar "Members of the Saltus Grammar School from Pembroke, Bermuda who were guests at a reception given by the Mayor and Mayoress of Dover (Councillor and Mrs Denis Clayton) at the Town Hall, on MOnday evening. The tourists who arrived in Dover on Sunday, begun their football programme in fine style with a 7-2 victory over a Dover Grammar School side. Carnard Pascoe, Eugene Ball, Dwayne Burgess and Wayne Campbell scored four for Saltus before Martin Podmore replied for the home side. Vincent Todd made it 4-2 at the start of the second-half but Eugene Pascoe and Stephen Turner (2) completed the tally for Saltus. Yesterday (Tuesday) the tourists were taken underground at Snowdon Colliery and travels to Calais today to play a French School team. The last match of their tour is against a Dover Schools XI at Crabble, on Friday (6.45) and they return from Heathrow on Saturday."
