A 'book' published by Cavendish Hall School, Deveonshire. Miss E.M Wilkie (Headmistress) at the helm. Published 56 years after opening, in 1916, the year that the school came under the jurisdiction of Saltus Grammar School in 1972. This is a potted history of the school with contributions from present and past staff and students. Foreword by John Cox (Trustee at the time). "A first and last" for Cavendish. Stories from schools opening in 1916 through to 1972 - year of publication. Recounts from the early days when Miss Outerbridges School first opened.
