Anchor Lodge met in the small Hampden County town of Wales, Massachusetts. Anchor Lodge received its dispensation on November 28, 1873, and was chartered on December 9, 1874, by Grand Master Sereno D. Nickerson, with the formal constitution ceremony held in January 1875 under his successor, Grand Master Percival L. Everett; George O. Henry, previously a Past Master of Day Spring Lodge in Monson, served as its first Master. The lodge worked for only about seventeen years before surrendering its charter on March 11, 1891.Relationships
