David B. Richardson was born December 20, 1919, and was raised in Phoenix Lodge in Hanover, serving as its Worshipful Master in 1960. He served as District Deputy Grand Master of the Plymouth 27th District (1972) and Senior Grand Warden (1976) before his election as Grand Master in 1984, later serving as Grand Representative near the Grand Lodge of Colorado (1978-84) and receiving the Scottish Rite 33rd degree in 1985. A Belmont High School graduate and USMC veteran of the Second World War, he founded the Richardson Insurance Agency in Hanover and was active as a volunteer firefighter and as president of the Hanover Historical Society. Richardson died April 4, 2003.Relationships
