Visual depictions of George M. Randall, Grand Master of Massachusetts, 1852-54. George Maxwell Randall, born November 23, 1810, in Warren, Rhode Island, was a graduate of Brown University and the General Theological Seminary who became an Episcopal clergyman, later consecrated Bishop of Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico in 1865, a post he held until his death. A member of Washington Lodge No. 3 in Rhode Island and an honorary member of Columbian Lodge, he served as Grand Chaplain, District Deputy Grand Master, and Deputy Grand Master (three terms) before his election as Grand Master. He died September 28, 1873, in Denver.
