Harvey J. Waugh was born in 1942 and served as Master of Wyoming Lodge, also belonging to Cawnacome Sunshine Lodge. He served as Deputy Grand Master in 2005 and on the Grand Lodge Board of Directors for six years before his installation as the 88th Grand Master in 2014. A U.S. Navy veteran, he was commissioned Ensign in 1964, served as gunnery officer aboard the USS Henry County, was barracks officer at Pearl Harbor, and commanded the Naval Honor Guard for the Pacific Commander-in-Chief; since 1968 he has worked for the Aleppo Temple Shrine, long serving as its recorder. He is active in numerous York and Scottish Rite bodies, including St. Paul's Chapter, Melrose Council, Boston Commandery, St. Bernard Commandery, and the Giles F. Yates Council - Princes of Jerusalem where he served as Sovereign Prince, receiving the Scottish Rite 33rd degree in 1991.Relationships
