Visual depictions of Percival L. Everett, Grand Master of Massachusetts, 1875-77. Percival Lowell Everett, born June 28, 1833, in Boston, spent eight years in Shanghai working in the China trade for Augustine Heard & Company before founding and presiding over the Third National Bank of Boston for twenty-three years and serving as a director of the Waltham Watch Company. Initiated into Winslow Lewis Lodge in 1858 and its Worshipful Master by 1870, he served as Deputy Grand Master before his election as Grand Master, sat on the Grand Lodge's Board of Directors for twenty-four years, and received the 33rd degree of the Scottish Rite in 1871. He died February 21, 1908, in Lynn.
