Visual depictions of Thomas A. Booth, Grand Master of Massachusetts, 1966-68. Thomas A. Booth was born August 14, 1902, and became a Master Mason in Eureka Lodge, New Bedford, in 1924, serving as its Worshipful Master in 1934; he held honorary membership in eight other lodges as well as the Grand Lodge of Chile. He served as Deputy Grand Master in 1961 and as Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery of Massachusetts and Rhode Island (1956-57) before his election as Grand Master in 1966, later serving as a Director of the Grand Lodge from 1969 until his death in 1986 and receiving the Scottish Rite 33rd degree in 1957. He spent forty-seven and a half years as production manager for Revere Copper and Brass Inc., and he served on the Grand Lodge Board of Relief and the Masonic Home Board of Managers. Booth died March 24, 1986.
