This ovoid form is carved from inky spinach colored jade and topped with a pink quartz stoper and wooden spoon. -- Semi-precious stone snuff bottle. Campbell inventory number 40, 60mm h x 40mm w, inky spinach jade bottle of ovoid form, well hollowed out with dome form pink quartz stopper and wooden spoon. Late 19th century. A nephrite snuff bottle 軟玉鼻煙壺, very well-hollowed, of cylindrical, tapering form, the spinach-green stone with natural black flecks throughout. Probably imperial, attributed to the Palace Workshops. 1750-1800
