J-0070-0001: Santa Fe Railroad ran the first train thru San Dimas in May of 1887. The Station was completed in 1889. A freight car was used as a depot prior to this. Thomas E. Gore was first station agent seen in photo with mail bag. J. H. Judson coming home from CA to Ohio after overseeing the laying out of his orange grove at San Dimas CA was killed here by train.
