Otsu - #54 of the Fifty-three Stages of the Tokaido Road series.

The image depicts a traditional Japanese scene with people and ox carts on a path, surrounded by trees and houses with thatched roofs. The characters are engaged in daily activities, suggesting a village market or roadside stop. The artwork is detailed, with delicate brushwork and muted colors reminiscent of historical Japanese prints.
