Mishima - #12 of the Fifty-three Stages of the Tokaido Road series.

In the traditional Japanese ukiyo-e print by Utagawa Hiroshige, travelers in straw hats and simple clothing move along a misty pathway, leading a horse burdened with goods. The scene is set against a backdrop of traditional houses and a torii gate amidst tall, slender trees, conveying a serene, natural setting. Pale blue mountains rise in the distance.
