Description

A tree in a tropical looking forest is being tapped. A sapodila tree cannot be tapped until it is about 30 years old and then it can only be tapped every 4-6 years. The tree lives to a great age with proper attention. The latex found in vertical tubes growing outside of th cambium is procured from the tree by a series of incisions reaching ffom the base of the trunk to its branches.
