Fuji-jeda - #23 of the Fifty-three Stages of the Tokaido Road series.

In this traditional Japanese artwork, a busy scene unfolds with people, some carrying heavy loads, interacting with vendors at a riverside market. Horses are laden with goods, highlighting the importance of trade. The detailed, colorful attire contrasts with the calm expressions of the figures, capturing a glimpse of daily life in Japan long ago.
