Note

These bracelets were made utilizing a repoussé technique. This metalworking skill is used to ornament a malleable metal, in this case silver, on the reverse side to create a design in low relief, or raised above the background plane. Bamboo has many meanings in Chinese culture, including longevity, strength, endurance, flexibility, and luck.
