After the fall of man his relationship and worship of God becaome so adulterated that God convenanted with Abraham to father a people through whom the perfection of his way could be revealed.
The entire Judaic tabernacle and temple worship pointed to its fulfillment in the atoning death of the Messiah, Christ Jesus.
The temple rituals and sacrificial system are no longer necessary. At the death of Jesus the temple veil that symbolically separated unclean man from the Most Holy God was rent in two. God now comes to dwell within each person who accepts the redemption that Messiah Jesus offers and who accepts the lordship of Christ in their life.
