Israel is a multi-peopled, multi-languaged land, and so it has been down through history. The languages shown here are both ancient (the book) and modern.
It is chiefly through language and symbols that we communicate out ideas. It was to Israel that God sent his embodied LOGOS (WORD) - Messiah Jesus, Son of God. Jesus Christ was the incarnate manifestation of all that God wanted to say to mankind. His life was one long fulfillment of the prophecies written in the scriptures. His life and his words constitute an embodied revelation of the Father.
