Note
Flat white surface with cut out of two tablets containing verses and hebrew letters overlaid in white, underneath a cut out of a dark circle with grey and yellow shapes.
Top circle represents: Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven. Tablets below represent Hebrew letters: First letter of each of the ten commandments. Lines of schism: man's inability to be pure before the Holy God on his own merits.
No one symbol for man encompasses all that man is. How much more true that is of God, the total comprehension of whom is limited by our finite minds.
The crystalline and amorphous forms are by definition directly opposite each other and represent in a very finite way the infinite dichotomy between God and man.
Chrystalline Structure: pure, orderly, integrity of the atomic structure, light reflecting. Symbolic of the holiness of God.
Amorphous Mass: impure, shapeless, without atomic integrity, light absorbing. Symbolic of inability within the basic nature of man to be holy through any of his own devices, such as attempting to obey completely God's perfect law as represented by the Ten Commandments.
