MISSIONS PARAMENTS
The pulpit parament draws its symbols from Mark 1:17 - "Fol- low me, and I will make you become fishers of men." In Mat- thew 13:47, "The kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that cast into the sea, and gathered every kind" reminds us of the work of Christ as the fisher of men, and his commission to his disciples to become fishers of men.
The table parament uses the seed which likens the Kingdom of God to a mustard seed and emphasizes the work of the Holy Spirit who brings about life and growth. The church engages in its missionary task of planting the word of God in the hearts of people everywhere.
