Description

This film starts out showing a child at rest and then playfully run away. The film then moves into landscape views of the surrounding mountains from the Clarke's Point Happy property, in present-day Idyllwild. In the second-half of the film, we view an older woman laughing while playfully swinging on an outdoor bench. This same woman as well as Marie Clarke then continue playing with a small statue in the garden.

Context

Marie Clarke enjoyed leisure to the best of her ability. Marie Clarke's recording also offers a glimpse into upper-class leisure and her social circle.
