Context

Mrs. Marie Clarke spent a lot of time at her residences by Riverside and Indio California. Most film boxes found are addressed to her properties in these two areas. This particular film shows Mrs. Clarke's photos of the Sniff Gardens in Indio, California which produced dates, grapefruit, and tangerines. This could have been an outing of enjoyment for Mrs. Clarke, as it was fairly close to her home at the time.
