A. Letter to Harry Newnham, Chief of Police, from Oscar G. Olander of the Michigan State Department of Public Safety with tips about how to handle firearms evidence at crime scenes. Two page letter and envelope, postmarked 1931.
B. Fourteen pages from police officer's notebooks outlining the details of petty offenses, mostly alcohol possession. Notes include the name, address, date of birth of the offender and sometimes the time, place and details of the offense and name of police officers.
Also one "personal total" strip of calculations from an adding machine totaling 5,173.00
C. Bulletin No. 2 Department of Public Safety Liquor Law, a 15-page document and envelope mailed to Saugatuck Chief of Police. Postmarked 1931
D. Five Michigan State Department of Public Safety blank accident report forms and envelope addressed to Harry Newnham.Collection
