8.5" ceramic plate with an image (by Peggy Boyce) of the First Congregational Church building screened in brown ink. 1860-1990 On the reverse is the following: "First Congragational Church, Saugatuck MI. Organized in 1860 with 16 charter members. First Congregational Church was the first house of worship erected in Saugatuck. Throughout the years the one room brown wooden structure underwent many changes but it still stands under the brick present chapel, library and classrooms. The little church on the hill, long known for its warm fellowship, open its doors to all who seek the Lord. Cokesbury, Nashville, Tennessee
