VILLAGE OF Kalamazoo-2, book 111, pg 551.jpg 3.9MB: "The nonofficial Abstactor’s drawing of the village recorded in Allegan records to accompany the recopied minutes of the survey of the original plat of the village of Kalamazoo found in book 111, page 551 of deeds in Allegan. It’s a 1893 replacement to the files lost 1835 version in Kalamazoo, among those 200 pages missing from book B.
It’s not the same as having an actual copy of the original plat map, but at least now we know the source of all those copies." - James T. Faasen, 3 Dec 2024
