Multiple years of silent, home movies edited into one film beginning with black-and-white footage from the 1920s and ending with color footage from the 1950s.
Footage includes scenes of children playing on beach sand, golfing at the family home "Beechwoods" and later at West Shore, picnicking, gardening, horseback riding, a baseball game at Beery Field, sailboats racing on Kalamazoo Lake, views from power boat trips on the river, teens horsing around, an Island Queen cruise, swinging on a rope, and an Easter egg hunt on Lakeshore Drive. Children grow into teens, pair up, and introduce their children to the beach as parents age.
