Scope and Content

Small, booklet with owl, laurel branch and flag on a pole embossed in the cover. A swipe of brown pigment adds contrast to the embossing and a stylized " '09" logo in black and red is imprinted on the flag. The 8-page booklet is bound with a red and white twisted cord with tassel.

Context

Example of ceremony surrounding the graduation of five students in 1909. The commencement program included a musical performances and recitations.
