Letter and five photocopies of photo album pages from Carrie Kelbe of Sugar Grove, Illinois. Ms. Kelbe's great aunt was Norma B. Kroes who took Summer School of Painting classes when the institution that would become Ox-Bow was located at the Park House in Saugatuck. The 2009 letter from Ms. Kelbe to Melissa and Toni, then proprietors of the Park House B&B, tells about Norma's life.
Also included is a photocopy of page 34 of Judy Bowman Anthrop's book "A Portrait of Ox-Bow" with a correction to Ms. Kroes' name.Context
