According to Jack Sheridan "These photos are of Maurice Herbert, son [probably adopted???] of Fred Herbert and Alice. The deer on the fenders photo was taken next to the Simonson Studio on Culver St and the deer hanging photo was likely taken on the Fred Herbert family farm, given the river in the background. His birth name was Morris Ziegler. See the short Herbert family tree on the Saugatuck-Douglas Community tree [ Ancestry.com.] Guessing there was probably some connection between the Herbert and Ziegler families, but have not researched that. Jack"
