Howard Inn at the Big PoolEntry/Object ID
2023.10.352Description
A farmhouse with a long single-story addition sits just outside the Big Pool fence. The Inn may not have been in partnership with the Pool, merely adjacent.
On the left side of the image, divers are climbing and leaping off a wooden platform emerging from the roped-off deep end in the center of the pool.
This image was featured as History Mystery #109 with the solution: The Big Pool was the spot to be on a hot day ca 1930. The Big Pool at the Howard Inn was on the corner of North and Elizabeth.Photograph Details
