Scope and Content

Color poster by Fred Stearns for the Saugatuck Art Association Arts Ball that depicts a couple dancing. The foreground dancer is dressed in a Native American inspired costume with buckskin fringed backless dress and feather headdress (war bonnet). The background dancer wears a large green smock or coat and red hat. Event date was Thursday, August 16. Poster likely dates from first annual Arts Ball held on August 16, 1934.
