Wood Children’s Toy Hobby Horse ca. 1930

Context

This Hobby Horse belonged to Helen Gage De Soto (who later became a lifeguard at Oval Beach) She vacationed in a cottage in the Saugatuck Dunes built by her mother, Jean R Guage. It was built on land purchased from William Herbert who built the neighboring cottage, Avalon.
