Description

Chain ferry about to unload at the east side landing. Five the passengers are on horseback. The ferry cranker boy seems to be getting assistance from a man with a cap and another man has just lifted the dock-side gate in preparation for releasing the passengers. The Beachway is visible on the west shore of the river.
