Scope and Content

"A Tour of Saugatuck walking around and soaking up history" brochure by Judy Hillman and Ron Hirsch with blurbs about the important eras, significant structures, photos and a map. "Walk Douglas The Village to be Remembered" brochure produced by the Douglas Historical Presentation Committee in 1998. Includes three tours and a map. Flip card deck with information for a 9-stop tour of Saugatuck. These tours were conducted by SDHS volunteers at 2:00 pm on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays in July and August. Tours were organized by Marsha Kontio, Harold Thieda and others. Tours started at the Information Booth on the corner of Butler and Culver Streets across from Town Hall (at the stop light). Fabric banner used to mark where the tour began. Red pocket apron with white embroidery to be worn by tour guide.
