Scope and Content

Digital photographs of a scrapbook compiled by May (Francis) Heath that tracks the development of the Saugatuck Woman's Club. The 12x15", double post-bound album has a black leather cover with gold embossing and black-paper pages. The photos of the scrapbook pages, and all the pages of the pasted-in programs, are placed in this entry in the order they appear in the book which is not strictly in chronological order.

Context

The scrapbook begins with a general history of the club compiled in 1924 and a 1934 tribute to Minnie Breuckman, who donated her family home to the club. Subsequent pages are devoted to each president and club programs from the years she served.
