Description

Four used metal bottle caps. Some still have their thin cork liners. Three caps from Kasten's Famous Orange-Pineapple soda, one from Kist Orange soda. These crimp-on/pry-off crown were used on ±10-ounce bottles that did not have threads.

Context

Kasten's was a local producer and distributor of soft drinks. See 2021.07.39 or 2024.22.12 for examples of the kinds of bottles used.
