Three compact discs of photos documenting the 2007 SDHC museum exhibit "Walls Talking" The exhibit underwriters are listed as Judy Hillman, John Capotosto, Rick VanderLeek, Karen Dunn, Ken Carls, Bill Werme and Damien Jarzembowski. Plus photos from the exhibit opening party taken by Marsha Kontio.

Context

From the exhibit introduction panel "Walls Talking, Stories Our Houses Tell, This exhibition is about many different houses of the Saugatuck and Douglas area ... lived in by a diversity of individuals and families over time ... but each is full of clues about human life in our villages past and present." The center of the gallery a freestanding structure, in the form of a house with three rooms, displaying artifacts of everyday life. Each tableau had a reader rail of interpretive text.
