Stoneware plate with white and blue glaze with leaping bird/phoenix, chrysanthemum and oak leaf motif.
Plate has a chip in the decorative boarder and a large piece missing from the rim. The back of the plate is marked "Nippon" [Japan] and three kanji [Japanese characters]. Decoration appears to be printed or transferred.Context
